Anchor it securely

Each shelf is thick, with rounded ends and a stepped edge, and a single centre divider that changes side on each tier. The result is a staggered pattern of openings that holds its shape whether the shelves are full or half-empty. Two rounded posts run the full height on each side and form the feet.
Because the back is open, light passes through it and the wall shows between the shelves. It can stand against a wall or work as a divider in the middle of a room. As with any tall shelving, it should be anchored to the wall or floor with an anti-tip fitting, particularly in homes with children.
