The Marshmallow Cloud Bed is upholstered all the way round, from the top of the headboard down to the floor. Deep padding runs along the sides and foot in wide vertical channels, so the edge of the bed feels like a well-filled cushion rather than a hard rail.
The headboard is made from two rows of padded blocks, with the top row set slightly back from the one below. Each row is stitched into squares, which gives it a stacked, quilted shape that is comfortable to lean against when you sit up to read.
The whole bed is covered in an ivory woven fabric with a fine, nubbly texture you can feel under your hand. The padded surround sits just beyond the mattress on every side, and the frame rests low on short feet set back underneath.
Inside, timber slats run across the frame and support the mattress directly, so you don't need a separate base. It comes in queen and king to fit a standard Australian mattress, and arrives flat in three cartons with the hardware to assemble it.
